Hi guys, please post your suggestions in here in a neat, friendly manner.

We already have:
1. Global shoutbox
2. Proper Get New Posts page across all sites, each topic is bordered with the colour of the vault it relates to
3. Global PM system
4. When clicking on a thread, it should take me to the end of the thread.
5. The global view should include a last post by XXXXX and timestamp like the view new posts section.
6. Release an official stance on Paid memberships. We will most likely not accept any more but allow donations in your name/anonymously.

Note: I will add things here as the posts grow
p.s. Yesterday for the first time in PM/NF/V9 history we broke 50,000 page views in one day, with a whopping 56,993 pages, 1,565,550 Gig of data, and 270,999 hits!

Hi guys, Its really kewl that so much effort was put into this and all, but at the end of the day its really shitty for my 56k . browsing through 9 different pages

Anyways, will the "the global PM system" fix the problem that on some of the sites my message box is full and on others its only 35% full ??

this should be better for dialup users, each forum on its own is much faster to load than the original NF was - so unless you TRUELY are active in all of them Hopefully the global view new posts thing will make it easier for you to focus on the topics you're interested in - we do try keep things small if possible though

The current global view is temporary anyway.

My suggestion would be to use a subscription based system for the different Vaults i.e. you have a global Log-in / PM system (As previously suggested) and one forum page where the Vaults you have subscribed to are displayed. The people interested in one specific Vault will only see the one, others interested in all the Vaults can subscribe to them all.

This should satisfy both sides of the fence, if it is technically possible that is.

Question: what about paid subscriptions? Still available?

we are looking at an rss feed that you subscribe to however we will have issues with the personal "posts since your last log in" situation unless we make it a "posts in the last 24 hours" or a "threads that were replied to in the last X hours " and you choose X

The other thing, as a way to stop spammers trying to get their 25 post, to post in the junk pile, is to add they there account must be active for 2 weeks or more.

Would it be possible to filter out the welcome messages in the latest discussions box on the vault entry pages. I would rather see discussions related to the vault topic than welcome messages.

Yes, it is getting better. I am glad I am trying to give it a chance. A few weeks and I think it should be great! Hopefully I will adapt to these skins, I don't like them, and all the forum seperation.

I think a global login will help a lot.

That all we need, make it so we can see everything at once again please my net time is seriously limited and I can't browse 9 forums at once. Otherwise alls good.

I`m slowly getting use to the new layout, but I only have one question, will it be possible to add a "open in new window" button on the new posts?

I know Firefox does it with a middle mouse click, but some people cant use Firefox at work.

In IE, just hold Shift and click the link.

Could we have a more basic, stream-lined skin? I cant say I like the heavy use of colour on all the pages. I know its to differentiate between forums but still its too heavy. Could we have a skin like on net-forums but each forum has its own washed out colour to it.

I think you might be alone there, we'd have to take a poll. Personally I like it this way
